We buy what others can't appraise.
For over a decade, certified gemologists at Liberty Estate Jewelers have made fair market offers on diamonds, fine jewelry, watches, coins, and precious metals — with the transparency and discretion the work demands.
Where to find us.
Our gemologists travel the country buying at trusted retail partners. Find an event near you and reserve a private appointment — right here, no phone call needed.

A standard of expertise
worth crossing the country for.
Liberty Estate Jewelers was founded on a simple principle: that selling inherited or pre-owned jewelry should be as careful and considered as buying it. Our gemologists are credentialed by the GIA and AGS, our numismatists trained in the rare coin trade, and every offer we make is grounded in current market data — not guesswork.
You're never obligated to sell. We make the process informative, transparent, and unhurried. Most clients leave knowing more about their pieces than they did when they walked in.
If it holds value,
we'll evaluate it.
From a single ring to an entire estate collection, our team appraises a wide range of pieces. We're particularly known for our work with diamonds, Swiss timepieces, and rare coins.

A glimpse at our work.

Three principals.
One uncompromising standard.

Joseph Cileone
Gemologist & Numismatist
Joseph found his way into the trade on the floor of a Philadelphia jewelry store, working the counter while studying at Temple University. He spent his formative years in New York buying estate jewelry before crossing to the wholesale side as a regional representative for a major bridal brand. The pull of the pieces themselves drew him back to estate buying — and to the world of rare coins, where he has earned a reputation as one of the region's most discerning numismatic eyes.

Max Weiner
Gemologist, GIA & AGS
Max got his start in Maryland, working in jewelry while studying marketing at the University of Maryland. After graduating he earned his GIA Graduate Gemologist credential and headed to New York, where he met the partners he still works alongside today. He returned home to the Philadelphia area to open Max Weiner Jewelers, then founded Liberty Estate Jewelers to carry that same standard of expertise and discretion to clients across the country.

Ryan Mitchell
Gemologist, Colored Stone & Pearl Expert
Ryan is a credentialed gemologist whose specialty is the world of colored stones and pearls. He brings a discerning eye and deep expertise to evaluating the color, clarity, and provenance that set exceptional gems apart, helping clients understand exactly what they hold.
